One of Los Amigos's goals is to enhance the relationship between Orange County's Chicano/Latino
population and UCI's faculty, administrative staff and students. The groups' membership
represents Orange County educators, business professionals, public officials, and
community leaders, and Los Amigos holds weekly Wednesday breakfast meetings at which
UCI faculty, administrators, staff, and students participate in discussions regarding
